My favorite concept that I learned in SWAT all year long was for
sure, The 5 Love Languages. The reasons, this is one of my favorite concepts, is
because it showed me how to keep my parents happy, and how to keep them feeling
loved, that happened, because in the day Mr.Galles gave me the test, that
showed which love language was yours, (By the way mine was Acts of Service) I
took it home, and made my mom and dad take that same test, it came out for my
dad: Quality Time, and for my Mom it came out: Words Of Affirmation. So that
way I kept my parents always feeling loved, now everyday when I go home I say
for example, Mom you look beautiful, or Mom I love you, and now a spend a lot
of time with my dad, for example, listening music with him at night, or out
fishing in the lake. That is the concept
I most use in my life today, so thank you Mr.Galles for teaching me this
important concept.

SWAT your focus reflection 3
I want to be real, this week was tough, it all started when i had a math test, i dod really bad at it, i told my parents and the weren't a bit happy, but they really got mad when they saw the actual grade, that im to embarrassed to tell. But anyway, that affected significantly my overall grade, and i couldn't bear seeing me and my parents that sad, so i went to my teacher, and begged for me to retake that test, and by explaining the situation, he allowed me. So i studied a lot at red did it, I got and 80, that improved significantly my overall grade, but since i was already improving i tough why stop hear? I checked my grades, and my english grade wasn't that good, so i turned in a assignment that was late, i did rally good in the pop quizzes that we had, and did all the homework's in time, and that made my grade go up a lot, and by doing all of that i improved my relationship with my parents, and putting first things first, my grades also went up, and that made me feel awesome, so it turns out everything worked out.
SWAT Your Focus Reflection 2
this was the second reflection of my SWAT your focus project. This week i had i lot of quality time with my parents. We had a lot of dinner conversations, we also had conversations after dinner, about how was our day and things like that. Also on Wednesday, it was my favorite part of the week, when it was about at 9:00 pm i sat down with my father at the living room and we were siting at the couch listening to mozart, we didn't talk once during that whole time but just being there with my dad doing a thing both of us enjoy, was worth a million words. Another part i felt great about this week was at Monday night, my mom was working late and my dad was really tired from a whole day working to i offered to give dinner, bath and put my sister to bed, i did all of that and at about 8:40 she was sleeping. I felt really GREAT for helping my parents that way, and my dad was really grateful, he wanted to reward me, but i insisted not to, i didn't do that for the reward.
SWAT Your Focus Reflection 1
This was the first week of applying those concepts to my life. Monday was the most difficult day, because im used to get home, and playing my video games checking faceboock, and procrastinating a bit, until i finally do my homework, but since one of my concepts in put first things first, i broke that habit, by getting home, eating an apple and doing all my homework, and thinking back it was one of the awesomest sensations i had this year, because later when i was doing the things a enjoyed playing my video games and etc I didn't have that non cool voice in my head saying YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK, and than im really happy. Im looking forward to continue with this great feeling next week!

SWATS Your Focus
3 SWAT Concepts:
Put First Things First
Parents
Self
This week im thinking, that if i put first things first everyday, for example i get home, i see my PlayStation, oh no! I see it is pushing me, it has its own gravitational force, but then i see my homework in my desk, it is not pushing me at all and I am not in the mood of doing it. But if I Put First Things First i will do the homework first, that way having the whole afternoon for my self.
Ok so putting first things first means having more time for my self is great, because i will be able to do all the things i enjoy until the time to go to bed, and that also gives me time to think and reflect about my day, and one of the best parts is that i will be able to go to bed in time, making me well rested for the next day.
But all the time i have left wont be used so i can spend it all playing video games, i will also want to use that time to spend some Quality Time with my Parents, for example, having a nice conversation, go out to see a movie, have a family dinner, or not even do all of that with my parents but also for my parents, for example they work so hard every day and i think they deserve to have one night to rest, so i will one day offer to help them with my little sister, like giving her dinner and putting her to bed. Martin Luther King agrees, "life's most urgent question is what are you doing for others?''(132).I will do that for when i grow up all that I remember from my childhood is a video game......

Day 8:
Day 9:By being a prioritizer, you never leave anything for the last minute, you always do your assignments and things you need to do at least 2 day before its due
Day 16:If only the worlds problems could be solved with a simple conversation....(from day 17)
Day 10: If you're a LoseWin kind of guy, you're bassically telling the world that everything that you - do with your friends that get you in trouble, you take the whole fault, in other words you friends you se you for their own purposes. (from Day 16)
Day 11: Most people go through life thinking Win-Lose, and your making friend lose and you go out wining. (from day 16)

CAS Reflection Refections for the hour
Day 1:
Today was great. We had 6 students, Maria Julia, Caroline, Maria, Dunia, Julia and Mariana. In the beginning we had small behavior issues because some people were really worried because of the test we will have tomorrow, so it was a kind of review class. Me and Pedro taught 4 subjects, the treaties, the south expansion, the Revolta de Beckman. We will have another class on Tuesday and I have 4 confirmed students that will go.
TWM:Most of the times the best student isn't the one who studys more, but the ones that are most interested in the subject.
Day 2:
Today was great, but we did not have too many students, we had first only Caroline, but then Dunia came. Today they almost never talked, they were paying a lot of attention actually, and I have the feeling every one of them understand everything we thought them. Today was the first day that Arthur joined the group and he actually knows the basics of teaching, and he sad he is going to study BSS more to get even better. Today we started studying chapter 14 and prepared them to the debate we will have next class. I have a feeling that they will do pretty well at the debate thursday.
TWM:when the subject is well explained, the students hardly have questions and have a good time learning.
Day 3:
Today was not a so great day. The students were pretty much fooling around. My theory of what caused this is that today was the one of our fullest days yet, we had 7 students, Felipe, Jader, Maria Julia, Margot, Dunia, Maria, and the one that makes me really surprised of even coming, Juan. He do sent even have our BSS class, but he is interested in the subject and wants to learn to be the best at his BSSF class. Well the students were fooling around but we thought them today the Tratado de Madrid, Tratado do Santo IIdenfonso, Tratado de Badajos, and we also reviewed the Revolta de Beckman. Well, i think thats the advantage of having 3 teachers, the more teachers, the more work done.
TWM: Sometimes its hard being a teacher when the students arent paying attention.
Day 4:Today i didn't know exactly what happened. i go late to tutoring, because i was doing a math test. I just know that when i got there, there was Dunia, Maria Julia, Maria and Margot, giving us a total of 4 students. We gave a class on the Guerra dos Emboabas and A expansao Mineira

Principles

Principles are the things that guide you in something, in this example i will use one word of principles in the 4 most important decision areas, they are friends, school, parents and self.
School:
Hard Work
At school i believe that what guides me is hard working because i hate getting bad grades, and when i do i search for help immediately, for example in the week before carnaval we had a math test, everyone was horrible at it, and i was destroyed inside. So i went to structured tutoring and homework help every day, and guess what happened? Today March 7th we had another math test and guess what 100 percent! All my hard work did pay up, so that is one example that i see myself as a hard worker.
Parents:
Honesty
At me and my parents relationship, i think that what guides me is honesty, because i am always honest with them and i hate lying. For example, whenever my parents check my grades in edline, that they do it very often, sometimes my grade you know aren't perfect so they ask me what happened? and i always say the trough, for example im sorry i did not study for the test, or sorry i forgot to do my homework, and they always understand and ask me, how will you not forget? And i answer.
Friends:
Help
I always help my friends whenever they need. I always try to do what they ask for example help the in BSS and in other classes they are not good, for example the week before carnaval there was going to have a test on BSS. Arthur and Natascha weren't quite ready so i gave them a tutoring class explaining the sucject better. I always like helping my friends because i want to make sure that if some day i need them, they will be there.
Self:
Modest
I try to be as modest as possible with myself and others. For example i NEVER would and hopefully never will for example i ge a good grade in a test and my friend got a bad one, i would never come to them and say HA you got a bad grade! I got an A! you are a loser! I think that is totally wrong and offensive, i would hate to do it, and i would also hate if someone came and done that with me, so that's why my principle is modesty, and if i could have a motto for each principle, for this one it would be Treat people the way you want to be treated.
Paradigm

Paradigm are your belief system, or the things you believe in, and unlike to Principles they never change.
School:
I see school as a pre view of life, you are there and have the same responsibilities and requirements of a job, but instead of money you get something more important, knowledge.
Friends:
Friends for me are for ever, or until they get out of school. I love hanging out with them, and feel horrible when i lose them are have a disagreement or a fight, and try to apologize as quickly as possible.
Parents:
I love my parents. They always make me believe i can do something when i think its impossible. I love have them by my side and try to make them happy as i can. Me and them have a pretty friendly relationship.
Self:
I see myself as a pretty hard worker, and a bit school centered. I hate getting bad grades, and when i do, i run after to do redoes or searching help. I hate getting in fights with both my freinds and parents. I think im a pretty calm and happy person.
So these are I believe in school, friends, self and parents. The 4 more important decision areas.

TWM's day 4 Q3

TWM: Trust is like something you build with time, if it brakes its never going to be the same.
his is more then just a sentence, my mom in 3rd grade explained me trust like this if you build the best and most beautiful pot in the world and one day you are mad and you brake it, you can fix it but its never going to be the best and most beautiful again.
Okay some people wont understand this so let me explain it better, if you have the best trust in the world with someone and you someday just destroy everything, you can try to rebuild it but its never going to be the same.
